Perceptions of Pain

In 2003 Charles collaborated with the photographic artist Deborah Padfield to produce a book imaging the confusing and complex pain experiences of patients on the INPUT unit at St Thomas' Hospital. It remains a remarkable insight into the devastating yet poorly understood world of chronic pain.
